- Supporting teaching and learning in KS3 and KS4 Geography lessons
- Working with students 1:1 or in small groups to reinforce understanding

- Assisting with the preparation of lesson materials and resources
- Supporting progress tracking and pupil feedback
Geography Teaching Assistant What the School is Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a Geography graduate with a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous experience working with young people is highly valued whether through tutoring mentoring youth work or school placements. You should be proactive compassionate and eager to learn with strong communication skills and a real interest in education.
Geography Teaching Assistant Salary and Contract Info
- 444 per week pro rata to term-time only
- Full-time long-term contract (September 2025 July 2026)
- Term-time only
- Opportunity for teacher training or extension based on performance
