Two Circles is a global sports agency. We drive growth for sports properties by delivering deeper connections with fans through the intelligent use of data and technology.
We work with some of the worlds biggest sports organisations including the NFL Premier League Formula 1 AFL Wimbledon and UEFA and have been named Sport Industry Agency of the Year on more than four occasions.
A team of over 500 Two Circlers work from six offices across the world (London New York Los Angeles Paris Bern and Melbourne) servicing our expanding international client base.
Data is at the centre of our approach - helping clients to get a better understanding of their customers and deliver insights that influence top-level decision-making. From there we develop digital products and integrate data and technology solutions that grow audiences and revenue across ticketing participation sponsorship and media.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of our ongoing growth we are expanding our technical team and looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our Melbourne office and lead the technical design setup and implementation of digital products and solutions for our clients.
The chosen person will play a lead role influencing the Two Circles technology proposition and will be responsible for leading and supporting technology consulting projects identifying and advising on appropriate solutions for our clients.
You will have a track record of designing and delivering high-quality digital solutions over the last 7 or more years and a keen interest in the application of technology in the sports industry.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation of architectural diagrams and technical specifications for multi-platform products
- Leading the technical design and development of digital projects
- Working alongside clients and project teams to understand requirements and provide technical expertise and leadership on appropriate solutions
- Setting up software development frameworks for release management automation code quality and source control
- Collaboration with product leads consultants designers and developers to deliver high-quality solutions across web mobile apps and OTT
- Technical authoring and supporting business development opportunities
- Providing technical leadership mentoring and guidance to other Two Circles development resources
- Keeping up to date on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology
Skills:
- A minimum of 7 years experience in software development and solution architecture
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services Microsoft Azure is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and directly with clients
- Strong technical skills in software development including hands on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks
- Experience in utilising and implementing core digital technologies including: CMS CRM VMS data warehouse & middleware systems.
- A passion for technology strong problem-solving skills with a flair for finding innovative solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Experience leading teams of developers and providing technical guidance and mentorship
- A keen interest in sport or the sports business and real interest in the positive effects we have on our clients businesses.
