Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse RN - State License - Generic - HR Only preferred Clinical Nurse Specialist Psychiatric PCNS - Massachusetts - Massachusetts Board of Nursing preferred
Experience
Experience in Nursing 5-7 years required and Senior-level nursing leadership experience 8-10 years required and Leadership experience within a large system and academic environment 3-5 years preferred. Geriatric psychiatric experience preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Advanced knowledge in nursing principles managed care critical care and administration.
- Demonstrated leadership managerial ability good interpersonal relationships and the application of sound administrative principles.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work.
- Strong communication listening and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with and handle difficult situations involving leaders physicians employees and patients in a professional manner.
- Strong business and financial acumen with knowledge of resource management methods and processes enabling the ability to formulate justify and maintain a budget.
