Air Products and Chemicals Inc. a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases has an opening for a Diesel Mechanic / Technician at its Middletown OH facility.
The Middletown facility produces and distributes Liquid Nitrogen Oxygen and Argon as well as bulk Helium and Hydrogen throughout the Midwest. You will report to the Middletown Terminal Supervisor and will be responsible for the maintenance of Company-owned tractors and trailers.
We are seeking an energetic highly motivated well-organized self-starter with a strong commitment to Safety. We are looking for a strong teammate with the ability to work well with fellow mechanics drivers and operations personnel.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as necessary on over-the-road Class A tractors tanker trailers and tube trailers
Document/record work performed electronically on computer-based maintenance system
Perform road repairs when necessary
Perform electrical/electronic repairs on tractors and trailers
Ensure fleet is in compliance with DOT regulations
Document/record Hazmat and OSHA requirements
Qualifications:
High School diploma/equivalent
Strong diesel maintenance and repair experience
Strong mechanical background with some computer experience/skills.
Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits
Diesel engine troubleshooting and repair experience
Welding knowledge and experience preferred but not required
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Must be able to work overtime depending on business needs
Stable employment work history.
