Job Description
SeamonWhiteside is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our growing Surveying team as a CAD Technician in our Greenville SC office.

Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare plans for residential commercial retail and office buildings
- Layout water & sewer utilities plans
- Prepare site plans
- Complete grading plans
- Prepare preliminary plats
- Perform quantity take-offs and construction cost estimates
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D required
Desired Skills:
- AutoCAD certification preferred but not required
- Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (MS Word Excel)
- A strong desire for continuous professional and personal development and improvement
- Ability to work independently in a team environment and to effectively manage time
- Willingness ability and commitment to meet task deadlines
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- A valid drivers license

Working Environment:
- General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted air-conditioned cubicle/office with moderate noise levels

- Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel
