Primary Objective:
YUZU is actively seeking a Corporate & Commercial Legal Manager in Malaysia who is readily available to undertake upcoming client assignments. We welcome your interest and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support on corporate matters including amongst others governance compliance and commercial contracts.
- Review draft and negotiate various agreements ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor regulatory changes impacting operations and recommend actions.
- Develop internal policies procedures and training for compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with external advisors on specialist areas.
- Handle regulatory agency relationships and responses.
- Conduct internal investigations and ensure corrective actions.
- Stay updated on legal and industry trends through seminars and events.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Law or related field.
- 3-5 years of Corporate Legal experience ideally in law firms or professional services in Malaysia.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate law contracts and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong in both English and Chinese languages.
