Job Description
Morris Animal Inn is a family-owned award-winning pet resort with multiple locations in New Jersey! We specialize in providing top-tier pet lodging grooming training and daycare services. We are now hiring permanent Pat-Time Dog Daycare Counselors at our Morristown and Warren locations. Starting pay rate is $15.50/hour with additional pay considerations for candidates with relevant professional pet care experience.
Our Dog Daycare department is staffed from 7AM to 7PM Monday through Friday and from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that some weekend and holiday availability is required.
What Youll Be Doing
- Supervise and engage in playful group and individual activities for dogs of various breeds and sizes.
- Monitor dog behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Assist in crafting unique dog enrichment plans.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all pet and work areas.
- Provide daily updates to pet parents fostering strong relationships.
- Collaborate with our amazing teams all dedicated to expert pet care.

What Were Looking For:
- Must love and be able to confidently handle dogs of all breeds and sizes; from the teacup type to the are you sure thats not a horse and everything in between.
- Prior experience in dog daycare or boarding facility (preferred but not required).
- A basic understanding of dog behavior and body language.
- Ability to read and write in English (for documentation communication and safety procedures)
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Availability for weekend and holiday shifts (essential as we care for dogs 365 days a year!).
