The Project
Construction is underway with the Stage 2 project works including:
Stage 2 also included the upgrade and repurposing of some existing buildings on campus which were completed in early Contractors successfully delivered Nepean Hospitals Stage 1 redevelopment and will utilise this experience to reduce any disruption to the health campus. Local training employment and supplier opportunities will be maximised as CPB Contractors continue to deliver Stage 2 for the NSW government.
The Opportunity
As the Project Engineer you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of building works for the Nepean Hospital project. Your responsibilities will include
Assisting in the planning and execution of daily site activities ensuring alignment with the projects scope schedule and safety requirements.
Providing the construction team with technical advice including the interpretation of drawings specifications and design details.
Monitoring and tracking project progress maintaining accurate site records and contributing to weekly progress reports and cost control.
Collaborating with subcontractors suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery of works to the required quality and safety standards.
Promoting and enforcing safety environmental and quality procedures in all on-site activities in line with both project and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Requirementsfor this role are
A bachelors degree in civil engineering Structural Engineering Construction Management or a related discipline.
Previous site-based experience on major building infrastructure or civil construction projects.
Experience working on healthcare or hospital projects is highly desirable with an understanding of the complexity safety protocols and sensitivity required in healthcare environments.
