JOB RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for set up and maintaining all areas of assembly with cell coaches to identify training needs and develop appropriate modification if building and ensure team members are performing their responsibilities according to the training scheduleProvide support and mentoring for new employees while training and identify sections where improvements are neededKnowledge about La-Z-Boy quality standards; basic understanding of inspector certification requirements; inspects units built by reports to evaluate trainee progress and document part integrity and attributes during assembly blueprints implement engineering changes and introduce new effective in in house production systems and Microsoft suite (Outlook Word Excel etc.)Highly effective in cell balancing by understanding cross-training team members. Highly proficient in Kan-Ban process and 5SEffectively communicating process and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunitiesWork together with team members to get the job doneExcellent organizational skillsFollow health and safety a clean work REQUIREMENTS:Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above conscious Excellent attendance; 2 points or able to complete all assigned tasksAbility to lift 50 to troubleshoot quality issuesAbility to communicate take direction at all levels and turn it into actionPreferred Requirements:Bilingual Two years experience with La-Z-Boy working in direct furniture productionSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None to occasionally assisting in a lead capacity OUR PURPOSE:We are La-Z-Boy Incorporated.
