The Part Time Regional Medical Officer is responsible for the clinical operations and all clinical financial outcomes within a designated region. He or she will do this by maintaining and further improving Alignments clinical model. The Regional Medical Officer will partner with the VP General Manager and together they will lead the start-up and champion the growth of new regions.General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to):
Supervisory Requirements:
Oversees clinical staff for the region. Direct reports mostly include Physicians but with dotted line oversight over all clinical personnel. Responsibilities include recruiting selecting orienting and training employees; assigning workload; planning monitoring and appraising job results; and coaching counseling and disciplining employees.
Experience:
Required:
Basic understanding of the UM/QM process
Preferred: 1-3 Years of managed care experience
Education/Licensure:
Specialized Skills

Preferred: Career interest in management

Pay Range: $262145.00 - $393217.00Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location education responsibilities experience etc.
