Job Description
Excelsior Defense Inc. is seeking a Part-Time/Full-Time Armed Security Officers to join our team in the Fort Myers / Cape Coral region. We are a veteran-owned security firm with over 25 years of experience delivering top-tier protective services across Florida. Our officers are the first line of defense representing integrity professionalism and reliability on every post.
About the Assignment:
This is a temporary full-time coverage opportunity for the month of July at a financial institution. We are seeking experienced reliable and licensed armed officers who can provide a professional and consistent security presence during business hours. After this assignment concludes additional part-time and fill-in posts will be offered based on availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain security and access control at a high-profile financial site
- Deter criminal activity ensure life safety and respond to incidents professionally
- Patrol interior and exterior premises as needed
- Monitor entry/exit activity and support employees and clients as needed
- Report and document all incidents irregularities and daily activity
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Florida Class D and Class G licenses (must be active)
- 1 year of experience as an armed security officer required
- Experience at banks credit unions or corporate financial facilities strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation and a flexible dependable work ethic
- Strong verbal/written communication and conflict de-escalation skills
- Must be able to stand walk and remain alert for extended periods
