Job Description:

The CIAM group is seeking an experiencedFull Stack IT Developer to join our Engineering team providing Technical Design Development Process Improvements and training/mentoring as necessary for the following credit platforms: Origination Adjudication and Fulfilment. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of newapplications andAPIs leveraging frameworks such asSpring candidate will drive implementation offeaturesand promote reusabilityacross the platform. They will also help drive innovation while maintaining best practices with the need to deliverresilient and robustapplications.

The primary accountabilities for this position are:

• Design and developnew and existing applications
• Responsible forproducingtechnicaldeliverablesfrom inception through to development
• Leverage best practices indevelopment architectural principlescontinuous integration and delivery
• Assist in technical discussions to driverobustmodernized solutions for existing and futureprojects
• Write clean code that is maintainableoptimizedand aligns to best practices
• Ensure that code is properly unit tested andhassignificantcode coverage
• Proactivelyexplore new capabilities to drive technology innovations
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to transform requirements into technical requirements
• Work closely with otherdevelopers architects andSMEsto produce quality technical solutionsthat meets the business requirements
• Comply with agile methodology system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC)
• Work effectively as a team supporting other members of the team
• Adhere toapplicationsecuritystandards andbest practicesto ensure application issecure andfreeof vulnerabilities

Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Strong Java and problem solving skills
• 2yearsof experiencedeveloping java web applications usingJavaSpring boot Spring framework
• Good understanding of RESTful API concept and best practices
• Experience in using web and application servers such as Apache Tomcat
• Goodknowledge of SQLandexperience in using database engines such as MySQL SQL Server or DB2
• Working experience with testing tools such as:
• Unit testing framework: JUnit Spring test Mockito
• Integration testing tools: Postman SOAP UI
• Ability to understand develop enhance and support highly customized applicationsand APIs
• Experience in buildingsecureweb applications (Oauth2JWT and/orSpring security)
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN
• Experiencewith Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Effective time and task management skills including the ability to manage concurrent deliverablesandwork in a fast paced deadline-orientedenvironment
• Self-starter demonstrated ability to take independent action to achieve results
• Abilityassistin translating business requirementsinto technical requirements
• A positive can-do attitude with openness to promoting knowledge sharing
• Self-motivated team player with high energy and ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Ability to self-learn new tools quickly to innovate work and success
