OVERVIEW
Cache County is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance Division. This is a full-time benefitted position generally working Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Accounts Payable Clerk wage range starts at $23.58 an hour.
The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time benefitted position generally working Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Available benefits include medical dental vision and life insurance on the first day of employment retirement contributions bereavement leave and 14 paid holidays. Full-time employees also receive 18 days of personal leave in the first year of employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accounts Payable Specialist performs a wide variety of duties to execute the accounts payable function of the County. Primary duties include processing purchase orders adding vendors paying invoices and enforcing the county code as it relates to approvals. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: An Associates degree or two (2) years of specialized training provided through professional workshops in-service or on-the-job programs; AND Two (2) years of responsible work experience providing training in practical bookkeeping or accounting; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.
