Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing invoices and payments ensuring accuracy and compliance with government contracting standards. This role requires on-site work in Huntsville AL and offers part-time hours with a competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process verify and reconcile invoices using Deltek Costpoint.
- Manage vendor communications and address inquiries promptly.
- Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and audits as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable particularly in a government contracting environment.
- Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint is required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
