Job Description

Job Summary:

This position serves as one of the Colleges primary college transcript evaluators DARS encoder and coordinator of credit for prior learning. All employees of Saint Paul College are responsible for promoting a culture that supports diversity and inclusion in all forms.

Job Duties:

  • Transcript Evaluation

  • Credit for Prior Learning (CPL)

  • DARS Encoding

  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the reputation of the organization as a viable business partner.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $23.63 - $34.18 hourly.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two (2) years of experience with transfer evaluation or in a related field.
Experience working in a higher education environment.
Knowledge of laws policies and regulations related to transfer.
Experience working with complex database and/or customer relations management information systems.
Problem solving skills sufficient to interpret and apply complex policies in a uniform manner for students and other constituents.
Ability to manage time sufficient to meet deadlines and assume increased responsibility to multi-task and prioritize with limited direction.
Ability to complete work accurately and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree.
Experience implementing and managing Credit for Prior Learning processes.
Written and oral communication skills necessary to explain detailed and complex information to internal and external customers.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with diverse populations.
Practical experience with Minnesota States Integrated Student Records System (ISRS) and DARS/.
Experience with a document imaging system such as Perceptive Content/ImageNow.
Knowledge of liberal arts and technical curricula.
