Master Scheduler
Full-TimeIndianapolis INCompensation DOE: Up to $75K/year
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Master Scheduler to join a team in Indianapolis IN. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing ERP systems and production scheduling who is ready to take the lead in ensuring efficient production workflows and on-time deliveries.
What Youll Do as a Master Scheduler:
As the Master Scheduler you will develop manage and maintain the integrated master schedule that drives our clients production planning efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teamsincluding manufacturing engineering program management and supply chainto align production output with customer demand manage capacity and ensure timely completion of key deliverables.
Master Scheduler Duties Include:
Creating and managing the integrated master schedule to meet program objectives
Executing production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and maximize efficiency
Monitoring actual vs. planned progress and addressing schedule-related risks
Working closely with program managers engineering and materials teams on deliverables and constraints
Analyzing production data and resource utilization to optimize output
Using ERP/MRP systems to manage scheduling accuracy and update job statuses
Generating task reports and Gantt charts for internal and customer use
Supporting SIOP (Sales Inventory & Operations Planning) processes
Identifying and resolving scheduling delays due to material labor or design changes
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date schedule documentation across departments
What Were Looking For in a Master Scheduler:
Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelors preferred
Minimum of 3years experience as a Master Scheduler
Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
Experience in SIOP planning capacity analysis and schedule risk mitigation
Understanding of production workflows inventory control and continuous improvement tools
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Excellent problem-solving communication and coordination skills
Ability to generate and interpret reports Gantt charts and dashboards
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Microsoft Project and related scheduling tools
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
Schedule & Location:
Location: Indianapolis IN
Shift: Monday Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Work Environment: On-site in a dynamic manufacturing setting
