Job Description
Intex Technologies is seeking a reliable Manufacturing Supervisor for 2nd shift. Hours would be 4pm to 2am (Monday- Thursday) with occasional overtime required on Fridays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for overall manufacturing production on given shift.
Interface with the Plant Manager to align manufacturing goals including production schedules safety and lean manufacturing solutions.
Work with the operations team to implement and cultivate a continuous improvement lean-thinking mindset within the team.
Inspect parts being produced and respond to defective products with proper corrective actions in a timely manner to reduce overall rejects.
Responsible to keep machines running and working with the technical teams to review issues for corrective action for any downtime which would keep the shift from meeting manufacturing objectives.
Ensure all production and scrap reporting is accurate and timely.
Perform diagnostics on scrap numbers and troubleshoot with the technical team to eliminate scrap dollars.
Foster cross-training mindset within the team by rotating team members.
Responsible for following all company policies procedures and standard work on related shift.
Ensure breaks are managed and proper adherence to time schedules by all employees.
Communicate effectively to all team members by holding necessary meetings.
Work with Human Resources to properly implement company policies and follow legal compliances.
Responsible to evaluate employees performance and work to keep morale at a high level.
Prepare next shift for a successful startup.
Keep the facility neat and clean at all times.
Ensure all safety policies are being followed.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employees must be able to be on their feet for 10 hours a day. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

REQUIREMENTS
Work experience: 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Education: High School Diploma
Computer skills: proficient with Microsoft office skills.
Organization skills: excellent organizational ability to multi-tasking and shift priorities as needed.
Cross-functional skills: ability to work well cross-functionally with the IDTs; provides excellent internal and external customer service.
Communication skills: excellent written and verbal skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
Problem solving skills: good problem-solving skills with the ability to provide easily understood solutions
