Education
Other graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology upon hire Required Or
Associate degree Preferred.
Experience
1 Year radiologic technologist experience Preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire Required And
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
Skills
Communication computer venipuncture
Position ResponsibilitiesTexas HealthRadiographersare responsible for performing complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations explaining procedures to patient or guardian/family member prior to exam. Processing and manipulating images analyzing image quality troubleshooting making technique adjustments or repeating procedures as needed.
