Job Description

We are recruiting for a Warehouse & Stores Operative for a global manufacturing company in Lymington Hampshire.

Salary: 12.36 per hour

Hours:

Monday Thursday 8am to 4pm & Friday 8am to 1pm (flexibility required on this day)

FORKLIFT LICENCE IS REQUIRED

Main purpose of the job:

  • Provision of service in Goods In to enable goods to be distributed as needed whilst working to detailed work orders works-to lists and onsite procedures.
  • Ensure that goods are booked-in in a timely and accurate way.
  • Communicating with the Section Leader or Production Manager about any issues that may compromise the service we provide.
  • Kitting and the continual supply of raw materials to all production departments.

Responsibilities and activities:

  • Check quantities record receipt and pass on any paperwork to the appropriate person.
  • Unloading lorries and goods safely into the department and storing them correctly using forklift equipment when necessary.
  • Maintaining the location specifications electronically.
  • Ensure the minimum of stock accuracy of 98% and to always pursue 100% stock accuracy within the stores area.
  • Assist with stock takes as required.
  • Prepping the kits in line with the works to list in advance use.
  • Correctly and efficiently using handover sheets.
  • To work efficiently and effectively as part of team as well as having the ability to work on your own.
  • Attend training courses as required.

Personal Specification:

  • SAP Knowledge
  • Counterbalance and REACH balance licence.
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Ability to interpret detailed work orders works-to list and onsite procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Operate as part of a manufacturing team in a busy and fast passed environment.
  • Flexibility with start and finish times depending on the needs of the business.

Own transport is necessary due to the location of our factory
