We are seeking a seasoned insurance professional to lead our Non-Employee Benefits (Non-EB) Placement vertical. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in general insurance (property casualty marine engineering etc.) and a proven track record of handling placements across large and complex risks. This is a leadership role that involves strategic market engagement client advisory and team management.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the Non-EB Placement team and oversee placement strategies for corporate clients across Property Marine Engineering Liability and other general insurance lines.
Manage end-to-end placement processes including risk assessment quotation negotiation policy issuance and documentation.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurance companies and underwriters.
Act as a senior advisor to internal sales/client servicing teams and directly to clients on technical matters and placement strategies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines during all placement activities.
Drive innovation and efficiency in placement approaches including usage of analytics and market benchmarking.
Mentor and guide junior members of the placement team; foster a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
Participate in client pitches and renewals bringing placement expertise to the table.
Monitor and analyze market trends to provide insights and pricing guidance.
12 15 years of experience in general insurance industry (broking or insurer side) with a strong focus on commercial lines placements.
Must have proven leadership experience in managing a placement or technical function/team.
Strong knowledge across general insurance products: Fire Marine Engineering Liability etc.
Excellent negotiation skills with established market relationships.
Ability to handle large corporate and complex risk portfolios independently.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Professional qualifications like ACII Fellowship or specialized insurance certifications are an added advantage.
