Job Description
Start your engineering career with us! UPC is seeking a skilled drafter to join our Design engineering team. In this position the drafter will turn rough sketches CAD layouts and notes into precise detailed plans using AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for manufacturing using AutoCAD.
- Create material yield layouts 3D model packaging diagrams and assembly instructions.
- Determines tools and equipment materials and supplies for production.
- Maintains document control and produces Bill of Materials using ERP (Odoo).
- The selected candidate will work directly with the design team helping bring concept generation to working models for production.
Qualifications
- Associates degree and one to two years experience or the equivalent combination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD required.
- Highly detail oriented
- Handles tight deadlines with ease
- Self-starter and excellent communicator.
