Job Title: Property Manager

Job Summary:
The Property Manager is responsible for the daily operations and management of residential senior citizens property . This includes ensuring tenant satisfaction maintaining the property in excellent condition managing financials and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Maintenance:
- Coordinate regular property inspections and address maintenance issues.
- Schedule and supervise repairs renovations and cleaning services.
- Ensure properties comply with local building codes and safety standards.
Tenant Relations:
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants.
- Handle tenant inquiries complaints and requests in a timely manner.
- Facilitate lease renewals and resolve tenant disputes professionally.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage property budgets including rent collection and expense tracking.
- Ensure timely collection of rent and follow up on delinquencies.
- Approve invoices and maintain financial records for property-related expenses.
Leasing and Marketing:
- Advertise vacant units and coordinate property showings.
- Screen potential tenants and conduct background checks.
- Negotiate lease agreements and ensure proper documentation.
Compliance and Legal:
- Stay updated on federal state and local property management laws.
- Handle legal matters related to evictions or lease violations.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and legal purposes.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2years in property management or a related field.
- Certifications: Property management certifications (e.g. CPM ARM) are a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g. AppFolio Yardi).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
