Job Description
Orchard Farm School District is looking for team members to join our Before and After Care program for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful team members primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that advance all areas of childrens development and learning including social emotional intellectual and physical competencies.
- Maintaining an orderly physical environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of students.
- Working with individuals and groups of students to support academics and behavior management.
- Learning new skills having flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of tasks.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students peers parents and staff members.
- Establishing rapport with families regarding their childs progress.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Before and After Care Lead Facilitator.
- Complying with State of Missouri licensing regulations to safeguard the health and safety of children in the program.
- Participating in professional development related to position.
- Maintain accurate student attendance.
- Supervision to ensure visual and auditory awareness of children at all times to ensure their safety.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years working with school-age children.
- High energy and a desire to work with school-age children and effective oral and written communication skills.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
