The Rutgers School of Public Health Environmental and Occupational Health and Justice department invites applications for (2) two senior level (Associate/Full) Professors in Sustainability on the Tenure/Tenure Track. A tenure-track Assistant Professor may also be considered. Qualified candidates should have a PhD in a field related to sustainability with a focus on health in its broadest construct environmental justice that relates to sustainable development or climate and health including resiliency mitigation and/or adaptability. Faculty at the Rutgers School of Public Health will have the opportunity to engage in exciting teaching and mentorship activities through our certificate masters and PhD programs. Responsibilities: A record of esteemed scholarship (including quality peer-reviewed publications extramural research funding as Principal Investigator and keynote conference lectures) Experience and interest in teaching and learning with a focus on student success and a commitment to equity in action. Experience of teaching masters students. Experience of supervising doctoral students and early career faculty. Interest in community engagement.

Successful applicants will be expected to develop and sustain an extramurally funded research program contribute to our teaching mission mentor MPH and doctoral students and actively engage with the communities we serve. Appointments will be made in an appropriate department within the School of Public Health which has locations in Newark and New Brunswick.
