Rutgers The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Human Capital Management Specialist II for the University Human Resources ( UHR ). This position reports to the Manager of Human Capital management ( HCM ). The HCMS II assists in the administration of salary/compensation programs and actions for approximately 29000 full time faculty and staff part time faculty and staff student staff and casual staff. This position assists with the review of documentation for compliance with federal and state regulations university policy and bargaining units contracts and assists with troubleshooting clients salary payroll and access issues. The HCMS II resolves problems and provides customer service with clear thoughtful and considerate responses to salary related inquiries. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Calculates reviews completes data input and implements daily individual salary and data actions for faculty and staff from hire through termination. Inputs data and ensures that all compensation/salary/status actions are processed accurately. Monitors workflow to ensure the completion of tasks within deadlines. Maintains and updates all databases and programs needed to execute actions and track and report on activities. Assists with research analysis and internal and external reporting. Trainings for clients and formal and ad hoc total compensation salary and HR reporting. Ensures good customer service and the confidentiality of work databases and communications. Assists with contract implementations merit implementations promotions and other compensation/salary mass implementations. Assists manager with the review update and documentation of new procedures for work. Runs reports tracks data reviews and works to ensure accurate implementations within deadlines.

Experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management systems university HR and payroll processing and MS Access.
