POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lead Kit Assembly Coordinator oversees the entire kitpreparation process managing both the Kit Program Coordinator and the KitAssemblers. This role ensures that production kits are accurately filled withthe required parts assembled efficiently and ready for production on Lead Kit Assembly Coordinator will be responsible for supervisingtraining and guiding the Kit Program Coordinator and Kit Assemblers to ensuresmooth workflows and adherence to quality standards. They will also handle anychallenges that arise in the assembly process collaborating with otherdepartments to resolve issues promptly.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Supervise and manage the Kit ProgramCoordinator and Kit Assemblers ensuring effective team performance.
2. Review and approve the accuracy ofassembled kits to meet production requirements.
3. Coordinate kit assembly schedulesensuring timely completion of kits for production.
4. Monitor kit inventory levels andcollaborate with procurement to address shortages.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve assembly-relatedissues ensuring smooth operations.
6. Communicate with the production team toensure alignment of kit availability and readiness.
7. Enforce safety guidelines and ensurecompliance with quality control standards.
8. Track kit assembly progress and provideregular performance reports to management.
9. Foster a positive collaborative workenvironment to enhance team productivity.
10. Identify opportunities for processimprovements and implement best practices.
11. Ensure that all kits are properly filledpackaged and ready for production.
12. Provide training guidance and support toKit Program Coordinator and Kit Assemblers.
13. Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION EXPERIENCE LICENSES ETC:
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Leadership Skills: Ability to superviseand guide a team providing clear direction and support.
2. Attention to Detail: Strong ability toensure kits are accurately assembled and filled with the correct parts.
3. Strong Organizational Skills: Musteffectively manage schedules inventory and team workflows to meet deadlines.
4. Problem-Solving Abilities: Capable ofquickly identifying and addressing challenges in the kit assembly process.
5. Communication Skills: Effective incoordinating with other departments leading teams and providing clearinstructions to staff.
6. Experience in Manufacturing or WarehouseOperations: Familiarity with production environments and kit assemblyprocesses.
7. Knowledge of Quality Standards:Understanding of safety protocols and compliance regulations in the warehouseor manufacturing setting.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The Lead KitAssembly Coordinator will primarily work in a warehouse environment whichinvolves frequent movement throughout the facility to ensure kits are properlyprepared for production. There will be occasional
exposure to outdoorelements such as heat cold and other environmental conditions particularlywhen required to locate personnel working inside or outside of a hangar. Therole demands flexibility to work in varying conditions both indoors andoutdoors to meet production and operational needs.
