Job Description
Salary Range: $69000 to $83200 per year.
- Direct the pickup and transportation of chicken from ranch to processing plants.
- Make decisions on how many birds per crew will be picked up.
- Check on crews while at the ranches and assuring all is going as scheduled and correct any problems necessary.
- Establish and enforce company and department safety animal welfare biosecurity and production standards.
- Provide necessary training for all employees including new hires.
- Supervise the training of truck and forklift drivers.
Qualifications :
- Have a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of poultry transportation preferred but not required.
- Must have good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast paced work environment.
- Ability to work in extreme cold/hot dusty environment.
- Must have ability to acquire a class A Commercial Drivers License.
- Must have and maintain an acceptable DMV driving record.
- Ability to follow and enforce all company rules policies and procedures.
- Ability to work various shifts including extended hours nights weekends and holidays.
- Ability to meet production standards and deadlines.
