Reporting to the Chief People Officer the Director of Human Resources is a pivotal leader responsible for aligning HR initiatives with operational and strategic goals of healthcare clinics across multiple markets. This role serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to market leadership and care center teams providing expert counsel and hands-on support across the full spectrum of HR functions. This includes talent management recruiting benefits accommodations employee relations compensation and compliance all tailored to the unique environment of healthcare clinic operations.
Job Duties:
Strategic HR Partnership for Clinic Operations:
Serve as a strategic thought partner to clinic leaders and regional teams translating clinic-specific operational needs and growth strategies into actionable HR plans.
Anticipate workforce needs and potential challenges unique to multi-clinic environments (e.g. staffing shortages provider fatigue compliance with healthcare regulations) and develop integrated HR solutions
Oversee and unify HR practices and policies across all assigned locations
Serve as a strategic conduit between centralized HR functions and practices on employee engagement workforce management performance management communications and change management.
Talent Management & Organizational Development:
Coach and develop clinic leaders on effective people management practices performance management and career development paths
Serve as a main point of contact for teams during Performance reviews and Career Committee process
Employee Relations & Healthcare Compliance:
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues unique to healthcare settings conducting thorough investigations and providing guidance consistent with company policy and relevant employment laws
Promote and reinforce a culture of compliance ethics and respect especially regarding patient privacy (HIPAA) and clinical standards
Ensure compliance with all federal state and local employment laws and regulations (e.g. HIPAA OSHA FLSA FMLA ADA etc.).
Manage HR-related audits and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that mitigate risk and promote a safe and ethical workplace.
Compensation & Benefits:
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team to ensure compensation strategies are competitive equitable and aligned with business goals
Provide guidance to clinic leaders on compensation decisions incentive programs and recognition for clinical and administrative staff
Oversee benefits administration including health dental vision life insurance and retirement plans.
Perform other duties as assigned
The salary range for this role is $130000 - $150000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical dental vision life and pet insurance 401K paid time off and other wellness programs).This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% and restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience education and geographic location.
Qualifications :
8 years of HR experience
5 years of progressive HR leadership experience with at least 3 years in a multi-site healthcare environment
Deep understanding of HR best practices and strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws particularly those relevant to the healthcare industry.
Experience and a deep understanding of healthcare clinic operations
15% Regular travel to various clinic locations required
Preferred Qualifications:
HR Certification- PHR SHRM-CP minimum strongly preferred
HRIS experience
Strong Project management skills- including proven track record of leading complex projects
