Description

Who youll be:

You will be responsible for theentire Physical flow activities for theKadi Gujarat plant and report to SCM Lead. You will be leading and ensuring key processes -Inventory accounting inbound & outbound logistics right from receipt of material to line feeding to finish goods dispatches to customer resource planning of manpower & space .

Specific Functional Capabilities Knowledge and Skills Required Essential Skills:

  • Ensuring critical SCM KPIs Inventory accounting 100% Customer DSA No Premium freight No obsolescence on SCM failure.
  • Customer Interface -Getting Demand from Customers & sharing the same to Plant Team Daily monitoring of Schedule Vs Dispatch Getting Packaging approval from Customers (New Development as well as Existing changes) Working on Discrepancies at Customer end (Dispatch & Invoicing related)
  • Logistics:Ensuring Freight expenses & Packaging expenses in line with monthly Targets Monthly/Annual contracts for Transport & manpower service providers Returnable packaging management Logistic MIS submission
  • Stores Responsible for end-to-end material flow within plant Adequate with various tools like ABC analysis & time study for the optimization of resources like space man method etc.
  • Perpetual Inventory Audit compliance Cycle count on monthly basis Scrap accounting & disposal Preparation of annual Budget for Stores Driving cost reduction in physical flow (Packaging & consumables) Daily Shortage Preparation
  • Indirect Material (IDM):Spares & Consumables Indent and monitoring.
  • Safety: Ensure Daily shopfloor management in line with Safety requirements (SISCA Material handling equipments)
  • IATF: Ensuring the working standards in stores are as per IATF norms & as per customer requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree in engineering or technical discipline Mech / Auto/ Prod.
  • Must have 4-6 years of Experience in SCM.

Essential Competencies:

  • Expert in Stores management
  • Strong manpower handling skill
  • Good Exposure to customer interface.
  • Strong communication skills

Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to ensure that production plant equipment and materials are moved and stored in the best way possible.

Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to optimize the storage of equipment and other materials.

Inventory Management
Designs implements and manages inventory control systems with guidance (but not constant supervision).

Traffic and Vehicle Planning
Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to optimize the deployment and use of vehicles and other types of movable infrastructure.

Workflow Management
Works at an intermediate level to orient work in a workflow to plan organize and execute the steps it takes to achieve a goal to achieve higher efficiencies. Typically works with guidance.

Data Collection and Analysis
Works under guidance (but not constant supervision) to analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
