Responsibilities

Management of Laboratory

Responsible for overall management of Laboratory lab personnel safety policies facilities and equipment management

  • Manage and execute safety policy for employees and laboratory guest
  • Assign direct and guide Lab Technician
  • Manage proper maintenance of laboratory facilities and equipment
  • Manage facilities and equipment budget yearly
  • QC testing and recertification on products as necessary

Lab Project Management and Execution

Review with manager consult and approve laboratory project request from sales driven customer request principal request and marketing manager request

  • Prioritize laboratory project Utilize Laboratory Request Form for all laboratory request
  • Manage laboratory project log Utilize Lab Project Log Form
  • Assign laboratory project to Lab Technician
  • Set laboratory project timelines Utilize Lab Project Log Form
  • Evaluate laboratory project results of Lab Technician
  • Produce document(s) to communicate the lab results to audience internal customer or principal
  • Track financial impact of projects Utilize Lab Project Log Form

Technical Sales Calls to drive closure of related laboratory projects and technical support role to sales principals and marketing manager

  • Joint sales calls or conference calls with sales representatives at customer as needed
  • Principal visits and conference call to present lab project finding and recommendations as needed
  • Technical consultation with sales management and marketing on short technical issues not warranting a project request

Your Profile

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree (science-based) from four-year college or university; or commensurate education and experience. Preferred 1 - 5 years of formulating and laboratory experience. Will consider college graduates with science-based degrees and laboratory experience for an entry level account manager trainee position.
