Job Description
Looking for a Temporary position where you can earn extra money Village Handcrafted Cabinetry in Lansdale PA is adding a Temporary General Laborer position to our team. Candidates will work 6:00AM-2:30PM two days per week - Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday. Previous experience using equipment such as saws and grinders a plus but not required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Clean shop area
- Disposal of trash and recyclables in shop area
- Loading trucks
- Wrap cabinetry for transporting
- Participate in housekeeping projects in shop and office areas
- Able to assist with lifting and moving of heavy items - up to 50lbs multiple times per day
- Able to assist with equipment maintenance
- Assist in Sanding Department as needed
- Assist in Finishing Department as needed - prep cabinetry for painting - taping off cabinetry and moving cabinetry
- Assist with sanding and grinding as needed
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Ability to work under time constraints effectively
- Be detailed oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
SKILLS & DUTIES
- Basic hand tool skills
- Self-motivated - ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Hardworking and reliable
- Ability to understand Spanish is a plus
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication

High School Diploma or GED.
