Job Description:

The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team Hardware Discipline Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing advanced windows application solutions for all Raytheon products. We are hands-on designers using the latest technology and tools and integrating state-of-the-art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TEE products are in engineering labs in the field and in production environments utilized for weapon system products. TEE has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle including demonstrations early engineering tests design verification tests production and post-production sustainment.

The role is considered as the senior technical leader for the Common Test Methods (CTM) Factory Test Platform and will be identified as the CTM IRAD Chief Engineer. This Senior Principal Engineer technical leadership position is focused on supporting and driving the design development integration and delivery of this common TPS solution into our next generation of factory automated solutions. The selected candidate will support and drive the development of system designs Interconnect designs test solution system analysis and integrated development environment specified by the factory solutions and the TEE organization.

The selected candidate will be a key part of multidiscipline engineering teams. Typical work involves the development of either engineering and/or production equipment environments and systems. As such the candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of product development for Raytheon Missile weapon system products. They will be expected to work as a part of a team to support design development and implementation of test system level applications in support of testing weapon system products.

This position is 100% on site in Tucson Arizona

What You Will Do:

• Prioritize and handle several engineering tasks concurrently
• Lead teams of multi-discipline design engineers in support of test system solutions
• Lead the troubleshoot of hardware and test equipment instrumentation in Factory Test Platform solutions
• Interact and engage with Functional Engineering Operations PTEs and Program leaders to support factory readiness and robustness
• Drive and lead the development and derivation of requirements for hardware and electrical products

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and minimum of 5 years experience in a related field.
• Advanced experience with engineering design to include troubleshooting analysis and test

• Ability to speak to the technical elements and capabilities of the Factory Test Platform
• Ability to educate and collaborate with programs factories and organizational leadership to help influence their decision to utilize new Factory Test Platforms.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Advanced experience in factory/laboratory test instrumentation electronics and software (Ex. oscilloscopes power supplies digital multimeters)
• Advanced experience developing Production Test Equipment in an Automation environment
• Experience with computer architecture and computer hardware optimization techniques
• Experience leading the integration of analog digital and/or RF system designs
• Experience designing testing and integrating digital mixed signal and electrical system interconnect
• Experience utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software
• Expert understanding of the TEE One Page Process.
• Self-starter and able to manage workload to meet team assigned deadlines
• Introduction or experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps Server or GitHub
• Written and interpersonal communication skills

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
