About This Position
In keeping with the Arroyo Grande Community Hospitals health care philosophy the Registered Nurse manages quality patient care through the nursing process. Reports to the Director of Surgical Services. Responsibilities include assessment planning
intervention evaluation and documentation of surgical patients. Overall responsibility is for the nursing
care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes including
supervision of OR Technicians. Directly assists surgeon intraoperatively assists with patient positioning
and directing other surgical team members while practicing perioperative nursing.
