Theprincipal responsibilities include strategic and technical management of anEnterprise Desktop/LAN (EDL) Team who focuses on value-added initiativestechnologies processes policies and procedures. Promotes leading-edgethinking and develops innovative and best practice IT strategies for systemsthat are aligned with government practices. Inspires and motivates staff bybeing a catalyst for creative problem-solving solution generationimplementation and teamwork.
TheEDL Technology Manager is responsible for the full life cycle ofenterprise-wide desktop solutions forecasting and developing an enterpriseinfrastructure and provides the foundation for highly-functional and stablesystems. The selected individual willhave high expectations of accomplishment and extraordinary strategic andtechnical knowledge and people skills. This role also provides leadership andmentors EDL personnel.
The EDL Technology Manager will report tothe EDL Technology Senior Manager.

Applicants must have education training and/or experience demonstratingcompetence in each of the following areas:
