Social Services Director

Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to plan organize develop and direct the overall operations of the Social Service Department in accordance with federal state and local standards guidelines and regulations. LTC established policies and procedures to assure the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.
Education Requirements: Must possess as a minimum a bachelors degree from an approved school of social work or related field. Minimum of two (2) years experience in a hospital skilled nursing care facility or other related medical field.
Minimum Qualifications:
Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Pass P.L. 101-630 background investigation
Must be able to read write speak and understand the English language
Must possess the ability to tactfully deal with personnel residents family members visitors government agencies and the general public.
Must possess valid drivers license.
