Job Description
- Greet patients with a smile and a positive attitude.
- Check-in/check-out all patients for Sanova Dermatology by obtaining accurate and up-to-date demographic and insurance information at each patient visit.
- Verifying patient insurance benefits
- Scheduling patient visits
- Answer the telephone promptly and in a polite and professional manner.
- Accurately relay messages from patients to clinical staff.
- Must be willing to learn cosmetic products and procedures.
- Keep waiting area clean and neat at all times.
- Must exercise the utmost diplomacy and tact to provide excellent customer service for patients.
- Acts as a liaison for the patient and the practice.
- Communicate verbally in person or over the phone and in writing via messaging system or email.
- Performs all duties and services in full compliance with Sanova Dermatology Core Values.
- High school or GED
- (1) year of clinical front desk experience.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service.
- General understanding of HIPAA guidelines.
- Proficiency in computer software use including Word Excel and Outlook.
- EMR experience preferred.
- Having worked with the EMA system a plus.
- Dermatology experience preferred.
