About the Job
You will be responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy for the sales growth in Oceania with focus on Alfa Laval Products in Energy Division in accordance with the assigned targets and local sales company/divisional strategy and targets.
Responsible for leading developing and securing a high performing sales team in line with the Alfa Laval culture.
Although the role is based in Sydney or Melbourne you will be required to travel to visit customers across the Australia and New Zealand.
Key Tasks
Business Ownership of sales growth & profitability in GPHE and BFB Business Units within the Energy Division across Oceania including:
Profit & Loss responsibility
Operate within compliance framework (business contracts etc.) & authorization matrix
Business strategy Adapt global BU strategies to formulate local & regional strategy
Annual Handshakes and quarterly reviews with Business Units.
Marketing plan preparation with assistance / guidance from marketing
Plan & execute Communications & Commercial Excellence activities with Marketing team.
Business Development activities digital channels social media etc.
Quarterly Forecasting submission & successful delivery
Customer allocation & segmentation
Sales Performance Management for each team member
Sales growth through different ways to market
Key Account Management identify plan & execute business growth plans
Pricing management through transactional pricing for the Spare Parts business.
Prepare & implement pricing strategy by application customers for other AS scopes
Market intelligence
What you Know
Technical sales experience in Mechanical or Chemical engineering.
Preferably several years of managerial experience.
Experience in negotiations and to work in cross functional environment
Knowledge of Alfa Laval products would be an advantage but not essential
