Third Shift (Nights)Environmental Conditions
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards Cleanroom: no hair products jewelry makeup nail polish perfume exposed piercings facial hair etc... allowed Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery) Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses gowning gloves lab coat ear plugs etc.) Standing for full shift Will work with hazardous/toxic materialsJob Description
Location/Division Specific Information:
Grand Island NY-Biologicals and Chemicals Division (BCD). Manufacturing facility producing liquid and powder media and developing cell culturecell therapies.
How Will You Makean Impact:
In this roleyou will producedry powder and liquid media consisting of various raw materials used in lifescienceapplications. TheManufacturing Technician II will perform various operations using specializedequipment ranging from manual to automated process steps. This rolerequires a high level of attention to detail with safety quality and other production standards in mind to contributeto thesites overall success.
A Day in theLife:
- Usevariousequipment for processing.
- Interpretestablished protocols and procedures to maintain a safeworkingenvironment andensureproduct quality and consistency.
- Collaborateand work with diverseteams to support manufacturing.
- Monitor critical process parameters forequipment and perform routinechecks toensureprocess integrity and identify any deviations.
Education:
High school diploma orequivalent required.
Experience:
- Required: Minimum of 1 years of workexperiencein a manufacturing operations production or lab setting or related field
- Preferred:Experiencein a cGMPenvironment
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
- Follow multi-step instructions and document accurately for safety and quality.
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes and adept at identifying practical process improvements.
- Proficiency in completing and training otherseffectively to accomplish departments processes.
Physical Requirements / WorkEnvironment
Capableof lifting moving up to 50 pounds standing forextended periods squatting bending and reaching during tasks.
Ability to wear all required Personal ProtectiveEquipment (PPE) including uniform steel toeshoes hair net beard guard (if necessary) safety glasses and gloves. Additional PPEsuch as bump cap faceshield and respirator may also benecessary.
Must be clean shaven

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $16.10$24.15.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
