Overview

Hello humankindness Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 400 providers and 1200 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrows healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. Responsibilities

The Medical Records Clerk ensures the medical records for the clinic are organized and complete to support patient care. Prepares folders of new patients and maintains folders of existing patients. Assists with other clinic support duties as needed. Must be organized and detail oriented.

  • Manages incoming departmental telephone calls and faxes and responds as appropriate
  • Maintains accurate physician contact lists
  • Miscellaneous clerical duties based on departmental needs such as Departmental mail distribution filing sorting copying record keeping posting tabulating information and organizes assigned tasks.
  • Maintains supply of documentation materials
  • Delivers and picks up records interoffice mail etc. as needed.
  • Prepares and mails all outgoing patient correspondence and appropriate attachments.

MUST RESIDE IN PHOENIX ARIZONA OR THE SURROUNDING AREA

Qualifications

MINMUM

High School Diploma or GED

One-year clerical experience
