Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing support to the EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Manager; maintaining regulatory (OSHA EPA state) and employee health records; adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality; participating in plant safety and ergonomic programs; assisting with education and training programs; identifying and assisting with workers compensation cases and assisting with the maintenance and documentation of workers compensation files; assisting with FMLA and performing other duties as assigned. Performing the duties of the EHS Manager in his/her/their absence as needed.
Knowledge skills and abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Entry-level. No work experience necessary.
- Strong communication analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office applications internet)
- Ability to interface with associates at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multi-task.
- General basic mathematical and Excel skills required.
- Some occupational health experience desirable.
- Attendance at appropriate job-related training required.
