The Hazleton Launchbox is seeking an Educational Programs Specialist to support the entrepreneurship and economic initiatives of Invent Penn State. The position is based in downtown Hazleton and will serve the Greater Hazleton area.
This position is for those who are passionate about entrepreneurship are innovative and collaborative.
The Education Program Specialist identifies develops delivers manages and evaluates a portfolio of educational programs or initiatives from conception to evaluation; provides leadership consultation program coordination technical assistance and related services in the field of education/training; evaluates and prepares recommendations for ongoing and proposed programs; develops and maintains relationships with academic units organizations industry and agencies to determine programming needs.
Qualifications:
A bachelors degree with a preferred focus in entrepreneurship business information sciences and technology (IST) engineering or a related fieldor relevant experience in entrepreneurship
Have the responsibility of delivering programs in English and Spanish
Programs will be offered during the day evening and on weekends
MINIMUM EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education. Required Certifications: NoneBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.Penn State does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of a staff employment Visa. SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position including all possible grades is $46400.00 - $67300.00.Salary Structure - Information on Penn States salary structure
