As part of the Centralized Sales team the Customer Development Advisor is responsible to proactively manage customer programs through new opportunity identification upsell and cross-sell execution to enable growth. This account management-oriented position will focus on revenue growth by providing solutions to meet customer needs while uncovering and selling new opportunities for additional service signings and quota attainment. This position manages relationships and acts in an advisory role for an assigned set of Flexentials customers. While the position is located centrally in Collegeville PA the subset of accounts can be located across the United States. Successful candidates will have prior Sales/Account Management experience and proven track record of being able to craft value driven messaging using the framework of the Flexential platform to drive incremental growth across a dedicated portfolio of accounts.This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of secure and flexible data center solutions that was recently named a top workplace!
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Builds and maintains customer relationships by actively listening to understand the organizational business objectives and goals
- Ensures frequent communication and to keep customer educated on emerging industry trends related to customers IT management needs
- Responsible for key account selling opportunities including responses to RFPs conducting competitive research and knowledge of Flexentials product offerings
- Partners with Customer Success team to help facilitate resolution of any customer issues that are roadblocks to customers experience
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly bookings/signings quotas for assigned book of business by following defined sales process
- Tracking and management of customer activity and forecasting using
- Conduct analysis such as customer needs analysis service gap analysis and compliance assessments.
- Manages to key activity metrics including outbound calls proactive emails scheduled meetings and inbound lead follow-up for assigned accounts
- Responsible for maintaining reports on lead generation activity and other quantifiable sales and marketing objective measurements
- Manage both internal and external relationships.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years sales experience in technology sales
- Experience with or desire to learn more about colocation cloud and other product offerings
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain sales processes
- Enjoys working in a collaborative positive fast-paced team environment
- Ability to partner influence and negotiate
- Possess general business acumen
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS preferred
- Locally based near our Collegeville PA office location
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Moderate keyboard usage
Base Pay Range: Hourly range offered for this position is estimated to be $28.88 - $34.31. However the actual pay range depends on each candidates experience location and qualifications.
This position is eligible for commission with expected annual OTE in the $100000 range.
Work Location: This is a hybrid position and requires 1-2 days spent on-site at our Collegeville PA office location.
