Deputy Nurse Manager 55000

Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to join their well-established beautifully appointed nursing home for older adults.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse-qualified professional with a background in nursing homes to step into a senior leadership role supporting the Registered Home Manager in delivering exceptional care.

As the Deputy Nurse Manager you will work closely with the Home Manager and wider clinical team to ensure high standards of care and compliance are maintained throughout the service. The home is known for its warm welcoming environment and its strong reputation for personalised compassionate care.

This is a full-time 40-hour-per-week position offering a great mix of hands-on clinical leadership and day-to-day operational support.

What Youll Need

  • Registered Nurse (NMC pin) essential
  • Experience working in a nursing home setting
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Deputy Nurse Manager
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and understanding of dementia nursing and elderly care
  • Strong leadership communication and team-building skills
  • A compassionate person-centred approach

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager in the effective day-to-day running of the home
  • Lead supervise and mentor the clinical team to deliver outstanding nursing care
  • Ensure care plans are up-to-date personalised and aligned with best practice
  • Promote and maintain CQC compliance across all clinical areas
  • Build strong relationships with residents families and external healthcare professionals
  • Manage audits medication safety risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
  • Take the lead in the absence of the Home Manager
