FIFO Electrician

We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join the Gruyere team on a FIFO 14&14 Days Only roster with permanent ongoing work available. Gruyere is located in the WA Golfields region and is accessible via flights from Perth Airport. The site has recently transitioned from a 14&7 and will be a 14&14 going forward. This position is available now. Youll have a permanent room and a back to back team member.
$106696 Gross Per Year Allowances Super
THE POSITION
- Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor ensuring continuity of essential Building and Engineering services in a complex environment
- Typical work day includes working on planned & preventative maintenance attending and assessing breakdowns fault finding troubleshooting including test tag isolating etc
- Working in remote Accommodation Villages including Temporary and Permanent Housing Commercial Kitchens Dining Rooms Laundry Office Buildings etc.
- Prioritising works & meet rectification deadlines
- Additional Allowances available such as On Call Allowance 3 Hour Min call out at penalty rates when required Nominee Allowance Leading Hand Allowance if applicable
THE PERSON
- Current WA Electrical Unrestricted Licence or working towards
- Current Australian Drivers Licence White Card CPR LVR & Police Check within 12 months
- Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
- Able to Pass a Pre-Employment Medical Including Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Able to FIFO from Perth Airport
