The Opportunity
Downers Energy & Utilities business is seeking an experienced Procurement Hub Manager QLD/NSW to lead procurement delivery across multiple infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Procurement Director and based in Queensland/NSW this leadership role will oversee a small but growing team partnering closely with project delivery and commercial stakeholders across the region.
This is a vital position within our national procurement function responsible for delivering compliant strategic and value-driven procurement outcomes. It will suit someone looking to make a meaningful impact while contributing to the development of sustainable community-connected projects.
What Youll Do
- Lead end-to-end procurement activity including planning sourcing contracting and supplier management.
- Ensure procurement activity aligns with Downer frameworks DFA and relevant legislation.
- Build and maintain strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships to drive best-for-project outcomes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate procurement-related risks.
- Support and develop your team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What Were Looking For
Were seeking a hands-on strategic procurement leader who thrives in fast-paced project environments. Youll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering Construction Management Law Quantity Surveying or similar.
- 5 years of experience in procurement contracts or project management within construction utilities or infrastructure.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in supplier engagement tendering and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive solution-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
