Position Description
The duties of Line Assembly Class I & II provides the final steps for the completion of the total door package before shipment to the customer ensuring the highest quality and care is taken to exceed customer expectations and satisfaction. This position is a step by step process that moves via conveyor until completion. Each step is essential to the successful completion of the total door package. Care and attention must be taken to ensure that each step is properly performed before moving to the next process. Class I is segmented into individual work stations that require specific process completion as the door moves along the line conveyor. Training will be provided in each step process whenever practical. Upon completion of step training employees must demonstrate competence in performing the job duties. Employees who satisfactorily meet all job skills and requirement for all the stations in Class I and can demonstrate their performance will be certified as Line Assembly - Class II. Individual training documents will be maintained in the employees work history records.

Physical Demands
While performing the responsibilities of the job the employee is required to talk and hear. This is a standing position for up to 10 hours per day on a concrete factory floor. Frequent use of hand and hand tools to assembly parts. Ability to lift 30 or more pounds both overhead and at waist level. The employee is occasionally required to walk reach with arms and hands. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Exposure to intermediate/loud noise is expected when working in the manufacturing environment. The work environment is climate controlled.
