Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a six-month part-time Research Manager in the Center for Urban Reseach and Education ( CURE ). The Research manager position provides support on specific projects and programs at the Center for Urban Research and Education ( CURE ). That support includes administration research and evaluation of existing research projects at CURE production of reports grant-writing and managing research logistics. This position will work primarily with the department administrator and project co-PIs but will also directly interact with community partners and consultants during program delivery. Works on day-to-day implementation of programming and research sometimes running teams of researchers or managing community partnerships on specific projects. Provides support for management and supervision of the daily operations staff and performance on projects at the Center for Urban Research and Education ( CURE ). Ensures accurate and timely processing of requests and actions and professional service to on CURE projects. Develops restructures and supervises the implementation of procedures and processes. May provide oversight facilitation and supervision of academic support and policy interpretation; purchasing personnel space and facilities planning; major event design promotion and implementation; and may oversee business processes. Performs seasoned professional-level work that requires specialized to general knowledge. This position is grant funded.
