Salary: 31067 - 33366 (OneTeam Band 6)
Location: Rochford District Council & Brentwood Borough Council (Agile/Hybrid Working)
Team: Strategy Performance and Improvement
Contract Type: Full-time Permanent

The Role
Were looking for aPerformance and Insight Officerto lead the development and delivery of a robust performance management framework across two ambitious councils. This is your opportunity to shape how we track progress improve services and deliver on our strategic goals.
What Youll Do:
- Lead the development of performance frameworks that drive improvement and accountability.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and services to define meaningful KPIs and outcomes.
- Build and maintain systems that capture accurate timely performance data.
- Create compelling reports and dashboards that bring data to life.
- Produce high-impact quarterly performance reports and contribute to our Annual Report.
- Champion data-driven decision-making across both councils.
What Youll Bring:
- Proven experience in performance management data analysis and insight generation.
- Strong skills in tools like Power BI Excel and data visualisation platforms.
- A knack for translating complex data into clear actionable insights.
- A collaborative mindset and the confidence to influence change.
- A degree or equivalent experience plus a commitment to continuous learning.
