Heritage Park is Canadas largest living history museum and offers visitors a chance to experience life in Western Canada from the 1860s to the early 1950s. The Park features historical buildings costumed interpreters working antiques and various exhibits that provide insight into the regions past.
Job Overview:
Under the direction of the Interpretation Manager this position is part of a team that assists in the day-to-day coordination of interpretive programming. At Heritage Park we acknowledge that we are located on the Treaty 7 territory where we respect the deep historical connection to this land by the Blackfoot Tsuutina yrhe Nakoda and Mtis peoples. This position will focus on developing Indigenous land-based programming that represents First Nations Metis and Inuit peoples and will collaborate with other staff to research and implement initiatives both new and established.
