Gold Coast Private is seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses to join our nurse bank team on a part time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy variety and develop versatility in your skill set.

With 22 operating theatres Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Medical Services Orthopaedics Bariatrics Neurosurgery Plastic Surgery ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) General Surgery Obstetrics Cardiac Care and Oncology.

As an Enrolled Nurse - Surgical your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

Essential Criteria:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Minimum 12 months acute and/or surgical experience
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
